An Exclusive Interview with the Ishkabibbles
Why and how did you get into the Toy and Game industry?
Well we’re not exactly…but we wanna be. Know of any good toy companies that would kaput us up? Before you say “Yes”…there are a lot of us. Yeah. Hundreds. We just kaported into the area and we’re all lookin’ for a place to stay.
What is it about toys or games that excite or worry you?
Playing, playing, and more ishy kaplaying gets us excited. We love kaplaying!
We’ve also noticed a lot of toys come apart. So we do it on purpose. We build and build and build and then,…well,…we have a lot of ‘sploding to do.
What was your favorite toy or game as a child?
Wow, good question. There are so many. We pretty much love anything where we can use our wild kamaginations. For example, Fishreek would play outside and pretend to be Miss KAmerica in the gymnastics competition during the 1976 Olympiad in Montreal. Nadia Comaneci could really crush those uneven parallel bars, but Fishreek could crush a few Snickers bars when nobody was lookin’. When Fishreek did a choreographed floor exercise routine to “The Flight of the Bumblebee,” he never lost his sash or tiara. So, dress-up stuff is a favorite for sure. Yeah, and dance dancy pants revolution.
What do you do every day, and why?
Grody stuff. Yeah, we kabibblestorm and think up ishy, gross stuff all the time. The grosser the kabetter. We blow everything out of gross proportion and build on our own fun. We build on each other’s ideas all the time.
Where are you from?
We sprouted from a small kammunity in the Kabibblebama region. It’s our schweet home. It’s that ishy, grody underearth incontinent we’re from, but we can go anywhere with the help of our secret kaportals. They’re like those frilly fairy doors but waaay more kamagical and kakool. So yeah, we can really be from anywhere. You’ll see.
Yeah, like one time, we went to go get ice cream with Wil Wheaton. He is partial to mint chip, but on occasion appreciates a delicate Spumoni. We were also transported to 1492 and chillaxed with Christopher C. on some rickety sailboat. He’s a pretty nasty guy, really…so we dug him. We’ve even been inside your kaspleen. Ease up on the fries, girl. Ish.
What is your favorite gadget, app or piece of software that helps you every day?
KaTwitter. We have a really short attention span and very little focus...kinda like another noteworthy person on the Twitter.
We're easily distracted, so we find KaTwitter is the best in reflecting our 140 characters of randomness.

How do you jumpstart your creativity when you find yourself hitting a brick wall?
Um – well – we actually really like brick walls, so we NEVER hit them…but we get what ya mean. When kids play with us, they have great suggestions. We also like to kabuild off of each other’s ideas and see what greatness surfaces. We often get all our kabibble parts mixed up to get our grody juices flowing. That’s cool cause we’re interstrangeable.
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
You mean besides road racing on your grandmother’s countertop? Yeah, mud shakes...with worms and unidentifiable crunchy objects.
What’s your favorite cereal?
We like Grossmeal and Carpflakes.
