Elisa All Schmitz - Making life better in 30 seconds
What was your favorite toy or game as a child?
I loved Monopoly – great training for my career as an entrepreneur!
What inspires you?
Bringing others together. I love building communities – personally and
professionally. I light up when I get to share great information and it helps people.
I built my entire career around empowering others with knowledge!
Where did you grow up and how did that influence who you are today?
It’s more about who I grew up with that influenced me. My mother is from
Puerto Rico and my father is from Croatia. I’m a first generation American. My
parents and grandparents taught me the value of hard work and that the
American Dream is very much alive and well, if you pursue your passion with
excellence and focus.
What is your favorite gadget, app or piece of software that helps you every day?
Aside from my lifeline (I mean my iPhone), my FitBit!
How do you jumpstart your creativity when you find yourself stalled?
I take a walk. It never fails to clear my head and get the creativity flowing!
Are you named after anyone?
My mother (Elisa) and my grandmothers (Rosa and Anna).
Do you have any kiddos?
Three kids (a boy and identical twin girls).
Do you have any pets?
A yellow Lab (who thinks she’s my fourth child).
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Red wine and chocolate truffles. #sorrynotsorry
What’s the first thing you usually notice about people?
Their eyes (color and if they make eye contact).
What is your eye color?
Green.
Do you prefer scary movies or happy endings?
Happily ever after, natch!
Summer or Winter?
Fall, all the way.
Hugs or Kisses?
Depends on who it is… ;-)
What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?
Beirut, Lebanon.
What are your hobbies?
I used to – not much time for anything but family and work these days. If I could,
I would paint, make jewelry and read more books!
What do you want to be when you grow up?
At peace knowing that my family is happy and healthy, and that I made a
difference in the world in my own way.
